Sykes came through with a cool interview about our new Tradition frame over on the Vital BMX website, you can read it all here and enjoy some easy on the eye riding shots of Nathan while you are at it.

We’re excited to say that towards the end of next week our 2016 range of complete bikes & parts ranges including new frames, will be arriving into dealers Australia wide. Other countries like the USA, will start to see them arrive into dealers at the end of August / early September.

For years now, I’ve wanted to make some products here in Australia for Colony. But it’s proven much more difficult & less viable than expected. Sad but true, it’s not that easy to have BMX products made here in our country.

But, I am stoked to release first images of our prototype Pursuit Sprocket here made by Input for us, right here in Australia.

Inspired by the legendary stock steel pursuit wheels on many a iconic Australian car.

Full details will be released over the weeks ahead. They will be available in limited supplies towards the end of the year.

Over in Taiwan once again & thought you would all like to see this behind the scenes look at our Official Stems being made. Every step of the way from the original idea, to sketch on paper, through to the beautiful CNC machine detail you see here makes out stems stand out from the rest. With the emerging growth in the number of smaller rippers out there in the BMX world, we saw a gap in what was available for them to buy & ride.

The introduction of our 18″ product line, gives these little shredders access to the same high end parts that the 20″ world enjoys.

Our 18″ version Sweet Tooth frames, Dagger forks, Sweet Tooth forks, Pintour wheels & soon to be released 22’s cranks in 165mm makes up a full high end 18″ product line. Our own Josh Dove show’s in this video exactly what these little bikes are capable of doing. Available now at all Colony dealers worldwide.

We worked with Nathan Sykes on his first signature product late last year and the end result is this fresh looking Locals Only colab seat. Locals Only is Nathan’s clothing brand he works on day in and day out when he isn’t roasting hips. The seat is available now if you live in Australia with the USA landing them early July and the rest of the world in August. I know this first drop of seats in Australia is pretty small so get in quick if you want one of these bad boys before the next drop in August.

Clint Millar recently put together a prototype 2016 model Prody Frame for his brand of mini ramp riding.

There a few changes on this Prody Frame over last years special limited edition release. Namely chain stay mounted brakes being the biggest change but still plenty of room with 25-9T gearing for brakes. The production frames will have a few small changes again from this sample here giving a different look in detail again.

It’s been on the cards for a while now but it’s finally out. Our first ever 24″ cruiser in the form of the 2016 Colony Eclipse. It’s also the first of our range of 2016 bikes to arrive.

Featuring a full CrMo frame, fork, bars & crank set along with everything sealed & double wall rims. It has BMX like geometry making it feel like a slightly larger 20″ BMX bike. It’s based off our ever popular Premise complete bike, just scaled up.

I’m over in Taiwan right now & excited to share that we’ve been working on the new Brethren Brake Lever for some time now & I finally can share the first sample shown below. Expect these to be out in the next year or so. Full CNC detail & much improved clamping design over our Transformer Levers.
