I stared riding when I was 3 years old and have never looked back… so 21 years.

What got you interested in BMX?
My dad took me to the local BMX track when I was 5 years old and I took my first gate and won! Went home with that little trophy and was hooked at that point.

Biggest influences in BMX:
That is a tuff one… When I was growing up it was Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist. The movie Miracle Boy and Nyquist was such an eye opener to me and what I thought BMX was all about.

Where are you living at the moment? And where did you grow up?
Currently living in sunny Southern California! Grow up in Springfield Oregon.

What does a regular Saturday out on the bike usually consist of?
Some times it consist of riding the DIY spot under the bridge by the Best Buy. That’s always a fun place to spend an hour or so. Then a good FOD sesh with the boys. Thats a good Saturday on the bike!

Tell us something about your local scene:
The scene in Southern California is pretty crazy. So many amazing bike riders all in an hour from each other. It’s amazing to me some of the heavy seshes that go down some time.

What motivates you to go out and ride all the time?
For me it’s the joy of being in the air. I love the feeling of floating off a lip.

Favourite place you’ve travelled to and why?
That’s a hard one. I think just moving to California over a year ago has been the best traveling for me. Being able to be in a new state and ride so many new things.

Good meals to eat:
Mexican food for sure!

Give us some bands/musicians you are into these days:
The Offspring Radio Pandora station, The Black Keys Radio too.

Favourite Colony product?
The new Tradition frame coming out! Feels amazing!

What has BMX has taught you:
BMX has taught me that no matter where you go in the world you can meet someone for the first time and become best friends in 15 minutes because of the connection through BMX.
