Hey mate….. plenty has been goin on and will be happening over the next month or so.Just recently painted the Bloody Oath… I’m really lovin’ the bike ‘n’ how it’s goin! Been filmin’ a bit with Troy Charlesworth for his Underground Visual series, I’ve got a section in that so I’m trying to produce the goods. It should be out by June/July. I’m heading to Melbourne this weekend to ride with Liam and film with Dan Gascoine, should be fun. Got invited to the Redbull downhill dirt halfpipe comp in Mount Beauty at the end of May…. That’s goin to be a massive event so I’m really keen on that. Also to everyone keen on having a rad time… on the 7th of June I’m holding a jam at Weston Creek to celebrate my birthday. There’s going to be subs, rails, boxjumps etc. It’s gunna be awesome and it would be sweet to see some northern shredders come down. Anyways, I’m goin for a ride, talk soon. Zac.

BMX Games update

First up… Happy Australia Day everyone !! Yo…well the first day of the BMX Games as almost come to an end.

Vert was this first up this morning & our own Tim Wood won, with an amazing array of tricks, capped off by yet another amazing 900, as only Tim can do so well.

The Colony BMX Mini Ramp Batle just finished & some amazing riding was seen by all. Both the amatuer & pro classes were amazing to watch & I have to say the level of riding in Australia is so high right now. I wont go into the whole ‘who did what’ as I am sure you check other sites soon for that. Plus it’s time for me to go down & have a few drinks with the boys.

I will report after tomorrow’s activities & hopefully I will be more forthcoming with news for you all.

Ryan just moments before the No Hander above.

Some kids that helped me remove the Colony stickers from the ramp. Thanks !!

BMX Games 2008 this coming weekend.

The biggest annual comp is set to go down in Sydney this coming Australia Day weekend. You can expect to see pretty much the whole of Australia’s riding population there hanging out, riding, drinking or any combination of all of the above. Should be good times as always.

The vast majority of the Colony team will be there in full effect. Especially for the Colony BMX Mini Ramp Battle set to go down on Australia Day, the 26th January.

Hope to see you all there & look out for the Colony BMX booth on the Sunday with our range on display as well as some of the 2009 stuff like the Liam Fahy-Hampton’s Hell Stallion frame, our Clone Hubs & 2 piece cranks.

We will even have some random giveaway’s through out the weekend including some Colony G-Strings for any hot girls that want to show their Colony pride.

Dew Tour in Orlando

Yesterday we went to the Dew Tour in Orlando & saw some crazy riding go down. It was cool to finally see one of these big comps in person. So many people there & so many friends from around the world. It’s always good to catch up with everyone & talk the shit.

Ryan had some bad luck in dirt though. We arrived just in time to see his first run & he killed it. Then for his second run he went for a double backie off the first set & ended up getting knocked out. He was OK though but unable to finish or ride in street later in the day. I was bummed for him but Ryan being the champ that he is smiled all the while. Ryan rules, period.
