D.I.Y in Melbourne video
I knew of a few drain spots that already existed here in Melbourne so I spent some time fixing up a few along with creating some new spots and then invited some of the guys to come down, stay at my place and ride the spots for 3 days. We had to do this during the middle of summer so that we didn’t get washed away and to be able to build at the spots. This all worked well besides the temperatures going above 40 every day we were out but everyone made it work and had a blast doing so. Here is the video (and photos) from the project, hopefully we get to do another one next summer.
Coppin it Sweet – mix section
A good chunk of the team have some really good footage in the mix section of Stu Munro’s DVD. You can see more sections right here…
California Mix
If you frequent this site or our Instagram you would know that Jack and Cooper were over in California recently for a month. The guys were over there filming for a new web video which will be out very soon. Jack took his Go Pro with him and filmed a few clips of some of the crew they hung out with whilst over there. Cooper, Bobbie, Jourdan and Ryan all have some footage in this aswell.

Instagram Slam
We hooked up with some of the crew from TCU and filmed this Instagram Slam at LAX plaza, the place was slippery but fun none the less.
Rancho La Cienega plaza video
Last week we filmed this plaza video with Zach from Vital. The session was a good time and the plaza was a treat. That last clip from Justin is ridiculous!
California update
Mike and Justin were out with us this week. Things started out good until Mike tried an insane gap out to short rail and took it hard, like real hard. His wrist is beat up and hasn’t been able to ride. Justin has been killing it on the ledge game which has been a treat to film and watch. Jack has been going hard on the rail game and we also filmed a plaza video with Zach from Vital so keep an eye out for that soon.

Adelaide trip
I just got back from a trip we took over to Adelaide with Mick, Tom, Chris and Luke. We were over there filming for a video in conjunction with the Elizabeth Riders committee which will be used for helping teach kids in school about BMX.
The trip was a blast and all the crew we hung with were real cool. Thanks to Dave Rubinich for hooking us up with these dialed photos.
Cooper Brownlee interview…
My main man, Cooper Brownlee has an in-depth interview over on TCU which is well worth a read.
I for one always find it amazing how Cooper finds the time to punch out solid video sections when it counts with the work load he takes on. I tip my hat off to you Coops, you’re the man. Thanks for all your hard work & dedication to all that we do.

Cooper Brownlee video
Cooper spends a good amount of his time behind the lens but he wanted to work on something new from in front of it which is what you have here. Filmed over the past year throughout Australia and the USA.

On the road
Myself, Ryan, Tom, Jourdan and Bobbie are heading north of LA at the moment on a filming trip. So far it’s been a blast, hitting up some nice parks and spots and just sort of playing it by ear on where we are going. We will hopefully get to Portland in the next day or 2. Here are a few random shots from the trip.

2014 Colony Endeavour promo
We put together a video to show everyone the highlights of the 2014 Colony Endeavour along with some riding from a few of the team guys. These bikes are available now in Australia with the rest of the world getting them in September.
FTLT – Day 2
Yesterday was another good day. We started out in Maryborough & hit up some local street spots which turned out well. Then made the drive to Woodgate but stopped off in Childers on the way to hit some rails.
I was really wanting to show the guys Woodgate though, one for the awesome ramp & also to see the kangaroos that are always hanging right by the ramp. The local wildlife did not let us down & both Jourdan & Brandon got to see their first ever kangaroos. Some good riding went down from Chris as well with some solid stuff going down in the last specks of day light.
Today we are in Gladstone & will be at M1 Cycles at 11am then the park in town at midday. Come & say g’day !!

The long haul…
Myself and Mick started the long drive from Melbourne to Brisbane yesterday morning. We made good time and got to Sydney by nightfall. We past the time by watching sketchy drivers on the freeway, one driver braked suddenly in the rain on a hill to 60km’s an hour with a truck behind them yet somehow everyone avoided the idiot, dealt with basically every type of weather and I discovered I could run sunglasses directly over my glasses which makes it so much easier to drive. Not sure why I didn’t try that years ago…
Follow the Lines Tour
We are very excited to announce the Follow the Lines Tour which will be commencing next week. This is basically a filming trip along with getting to hang out with a lot of new riders around the country. Being that it will be school holidays we will be visiting a few stores along the way and their local parks & trails even. Make sure you get out to one of the sessions at the shops and local park for plenty of giveaways!
For everyone in between, we will no doubt be hitting up more parks and spots, so keep an eye on our Instagram to see where we are are to catch up for a roll. Can’t wait for this to begin!
A good chunk of the team will be on various parts of the trip and we even have Brandon Van Dulken (Canada) and Jourdan Barba (USA) coming out for it! Both of which have never been here before, so that will be a treat for them & us !!
