Broc Raiford checks in…
Our main man in the USA, Broc Raiford sent in a quick couple photos from his recent trip in Cali. He went to a few various jams & comps while over there collecting footage including a jam at The Vault park & the Etnies King of the Skatepark comp. Broc took out first place in street which is cool to see.
Ride BMX also have a video with some clips of Broc from the Etnies comp here.

Tobias Wicke video
I have known Tobias Wicke for years now & have always admired his riding. He is such a good guy to hang out with as well. This video was very impressive in all counts. Just gotta love the front brakes. Tobias doesn’t ride for us as such but we have flowed him some parts from time to time. Posting this video just because it’s awesome.

Nothing to do with BMX…
… but for anyone that knows me, knows that I like old school VW Type 3 Squareback’s. This here is one fine specimen.

A new bike…
The last few times I have been at Woodridge skate park for a ride, there has been a young kid there who has always shown some skills on his bike. The bike he had was a real piece of work & he needed something decent big time. We were there on Saturday for a roll & once again, 9 year old Josh was there hanging out. He was still on his old bike & I thought I could help him out some what, so I told him to meet me at the park the next day.
The next morning I went through the warehouse & built him up a bike from spare stuff we had laying around. I was pretty stoked to be able to help him out & he was very stoked for sure. Enjoy the bike Josh & I can’t wait to see you ride again soon.

Brazilian update…
Things are really moving along for BMX in Brazil & much of this is to do with the hard work from the guys at Dream BMX. They recently put on a dirt jam & below you can see the video from it. Pretty cool vibe & looks like everyone had a great day. We supported the event with some prizes as well.
In more news from Brazil, Dream BMX also recently had a trade show booth & showed off all our new products we have coming out for 2012. See some pics below of their booth.
Our Brazilian team rider & good mate, Valvoline is also headed over to Brisbane for a month of riding soon which will be really good to have him here. Should be some good times ahead for sure. That’s him on the trade show booth. Expect to see him here for the month of November.

2012 Endeavour… stolen !!
A young rider had the misfortune of having his brand new 2012 Endeavour in Matt Black/Purple as seen below taken forcefully from him in Crestmead on the southside of Brisbane yesterday. These bikes aren’t even out yet so should be pretty easy to spot around. If you happen to see the bike below please contact Matt & the guys at 99 Bikes Browns Plains.

Down here in Melbourne we are fortunate enough to get daylight savings for 6 months of the year, which basically means at its peak it’s light until 9pm. We are taking full advantage of good weather and long days! Marnold smith to hardway.

It’s a rental…
On our way back home from a 2 week trip here in the USA & Canada. Just spent 3 days up in Vancouver with Dave Osato & his wife Johanna, taking in the sites of Vancouver. It was a really nice weekend for sure. They took us around & showed us some cool stuff, we ate good food & had a few drinks. We even caught up with Jay Miron as well. He is doing well it seems with his absence from BMX.
It was also good to catch up with Blaise & Tammy from Kill Em All Distribution as well.
We just spent the day in LA now & got a hire car to cruise around in. Had to go something American & fun. So enter the Dodge Challenger R/T with it’s 5.7L V8 Hemi. Fun times !!

Today was a good day…
Spent the day exploring New York City today again. We visited the 9/11 site which was rather emotional to be there. Just thinking of all those that lost their lives & what it would have been like to be there when it happened.
After that we headed to check out Wall Street & had some breakfast there. We then took a NYC Water Taxi on the Hudson River to check out the sights including the Statue of Liberty. After that we walked & checked out the Brooklyn Banks although they are closed off at the moment with construction.
After this we caught the subway back uptown to check out the Empire State Building. Such a great view of the city from up there. All in all, a great day.
