A couple nights ago we lit up Morayfield park with Tom and did a bunch of filming for a new web video series we are working on with the team. Tom really put in work for the clips. More info on these in the coming weeks.

If you check the index page you may have noticed a new image featuring Marnold and the Variant stem. This is also the first sneak peek of the new layout style for the online and print adverts. We wanted to add more of a story to the adverts so that you get to learn a bit more about the behind the scenes especially with the DVD coming out next month.

Our friend James Wade from South Australia just released his latest online photobook which showcases the Adelaide scene every month or two. Make sure you check it out, Liam gets a bunch of love in there aswell. Liam also recently started a tumblr which you can check out here.

Here is our current print advert for DIG featuring our flow rider, Broc Raiford. This was shot whilst we were in the USA on a trip which was also the first time most of us met Broc.

We have set up a twitter account for us to post up randomness, sneak peeks on projects we are working on and just the general things that go down on a day to day basis here at Colony. If you use twitter make sure you follow us.

On another note, we are also currently working on team rider interviews for the site and we want everyone to have the chance to ask anyone on the team anything so if you jump onto our facebook page and leave a comment here we will do our best to get it answered.

Adam Ingles and the crew down at Drift are putting on another jam which we are getting behind. This time its at some trails. There will be all the good things that make a jam such as music, food, drinks and giveaways so make sure you get down there. You can also check out their facebook page here. As you may have heard the other day  Ryan and Daniel Dhers have taken over Dave Mirras warehouse, well here is the latest info from Ryan about the plans…

“Because it has been such a private BMX warehouse for so long we will be opening it other riders. THIS does not mean you can just show up and Ride but if you message our facebook page or email bmxwarehouse@hotmail.com you can find out riding times and event dates.”

Clint is down here in Melbourne for the weekend, yesterday afternoon we rode Ringwood park with a bunch of the locals who were super pumped on any front wheel moves from Millar. Thanks to the local crew for having fun with it.

Valvo, our team rider from Brazil sent us in some photos from his local bowls that he rides. He also mentioned he will have en edit out in a few weeks so keep an eye out for that aswell.

Zac sent in a quick update about that he has been up to…

“I’m still in Canberra having a ball, working to get my move to Brissy underways, hopefully all comes good! Been riding heaps of late, mainly skatepark just getting stuff down. I went out on the weekend though and started filming for a Backbone edit with some of the crew, awesome day in the end.”

For the past week myself, Mick Bayzand, Zac Miner along with filmer Stu Munro were out on the road in-between Canberra and Sydney searching for spots and filming.
