After working hard on filming for the Colony DVD, we wanted to play around with a web edit series that was a bit more relaxed, so the deal is…. The rider picks out a spot or park they enjoy riding and then they film ten clips at that spot. No pressure, just keep it fun and do the things they enjoy doing.

This is Tom’s local park so I knew this would be the place we would hit up for his Ten Clips. To mix it up and to work in with Tom’s work schedule, we got out the generator and filmed it at night whilst the local kids lurked in the background.

We moved the generator set-up around to each part of the park to film each clip which worked well.

Thanks so much to Calvin Kosovich for taking the time to film this. The guys at Royal BMX had an instore premiere evening for the DVD and Calvin caught up with a few local crew to see what they thought of it. If you watched the interviews we did with the team about filming for the DVD you would know we talked alot about Perth, well most this crew in this are the guys that helped us out alot.

Valvo recently did a box jump demo and sent in a couple of photos from the day, thanks for that Valvo.

Last month Liam went over to China for the Asian X-Games and seem to gain alot of recognition from doing so. His clothing sponsor Primary Threads were so stoked on how Liam went they have released a limited edition colour way of one of their designs to celebrate liams results.

Royal Bmx is a BMX store over in Perth, Western Australia. These guys are doing good things for the scene over there and they stock all Colony product so make sure you check out the store if you are in W.A and have a watch of this video interview created by Calvin Kosovich.

Our good friend and team rider from France Bruno Faucon has some good footage in this edit from Maniable clothing. Most of the footage is from the park in Aurilllac which is the same town one of the DVD premieres is happening in.

We went to this spot during the day but the workers there wern’t to excited about us being there and after one attempt at it we got the boot. Being a golf course we thought it would close around dark however after we checked google it didn’t shut until 11pm. So we waiting until late and missioned into town, parked the car away from the place and wheeled the generator and lights up on the filming board, lit it up and Zac got it done first or second shot from memory. I love doing missions like that.

Jens is our flow rider from Sweden and he recently sent in some photos. Jens tells us the weather is just starting to come into the good season so plenty of roadtrips and riding ahead for him. I drove through Canberra a couple of days ago and stopped in at Backbone. These guys have been holding it down in Canberra for a few years now so you don’t need me to tell you where to go for all your BMX goods in Canberra.

Tom Stretton does a rediculous nose wheelie in this Ride On BMX store advert. Look out for a Chris Courtenay clip in there too. Ride On are good supporters of Colony and the BMX scene so check them out if you are ever in Brisbane.
