Adelaide again and the weather was beautiful. After hitting a couple of spots we ventured to the City jumps which the guys seem to have a ball, Valvo was in his element.

We are all in Adelaide now and the first day was a blast, the weather is perfect and so are the spots!

Mick is back in Melbourne now and has gotten straight into filming, Troy Charlesworth is in town so they are filming clips for the next 2020 DVD.

This morning unfortunately dirt riding legend Dane Searls passed away, he was no doubtably one of the most amazing dirt jumpers and will be sorely missed by all. From all of us here at Colony our deepest sympathys to all of Dane’s friends and family.

Alex Hiam recently finished school for the year so he flew down to Melbourne last weekend to hang out and ride with friends. I caught up with Alex yesterday to do some filming and we snagged a few shots as well. Table transfer at Camberwell park.

A couple of days ago we spent the afternoon riding Hibiscis park here in Brisbane and filming a ten clips edit with Valvo. He came through with the goods so be on the look out for the web video over the coming weeks, incase you missed it Valvo had a bike check up last week.

John Young is well known for producing quality edits and this one fits the bill, good clips from Stretton, Miner and Zingbergs in there as well.

Simon is amazing! This video part came out in 2004 and although I am no expert in flatland I know this is good.

Mick is finally back home in Melbourne after travelling around Australia for the past couple of months. The last few weeks of his trip he spent in Western Australia doing demo’s and coaching clinics in small country towns. Micky sent in some words about his experience, thanks to Shaun Jarvis for the photos.

“Thanks to Shaun Jarvis and the rest of the squad for evading the air space and launching a full on squad assault hahaha that’s for you Jarv. It’s been an awesome time and I have meet and ridden with some great people. If you have a copy of the latest 2020 then you would have seen this advert we did with Zac promoting his new frame. It was actually the wedding parties idea for the photo, they loved it.

Peta loves Kuraby park and rides it really well, we spent an afternoon there a couple of months back and she went to work producing some good lines.

A few of us are in Canberra at the moment filming and shooting an article for the next 2020. I really love Canberra, good people and good spots.

We are supporting yet another jam going down in the Newcastle area, these guys are really helping to build a great scene in the Central Coast of NSW.

Mick sent through an update about his recent travels in the West…

I’ve been lucky enough to the have been invited to do some box jump demos at the Perth Royal Show for 8 days and 8 nights. It was a really fun time and the demos were sick not to mention the amazing fire works display.

I just want to thank Shaun Jarvis from Freestyle Now for hooking this up and all the amazing people I met and rode with for making it such an enjoyable experience.

Now I am traveling all around Perth doing lots of coaching clinics, demos and judging lots of comps so if your in the area come have a shred with me.

A few weeks back we took Brock down to Capalaba park in Brisbane to film a ten clips web video. He really put in work for this so we hope you enjoy it.

Really good video from the guys at 2020. Marnold, Brock, Zac and Liam all have some great footage in this web video. Zac took it hard multiple times trying whip to over ice down the rail, I can’t wait for the day he pulls that move. Marnold came 2nd with a stupid amount of combos, opposite x-up crooks?
