Chris Courtenay update

Hey Guys,
Some good some bad, the recent ACTJAM was amazing, all the dudes who make the happen every year rule! I road tripped it down with Dovey last minute so we could hit some more parks (Five dock is always a treat)! But lately I’ve been having some shoulder issue’s with it popping out on the odd occasion, so its back to the man Jeremy @ Solutions Physio to get me back to 100% and decrease the risk of it going out again! Also recently got a chance to shoot with Andras Pentek who is unreal behind the lens! So peep a few of the shots we got!

Dean Anderson video

This video has been in the works for a good 18 months now which may sound like a long time in the web video world but Dean had a plan for the clips he wanted to get and some of them weren’t things you wanted to rush into.

Nathan Sykes 8mm

Matt Cordova put together this rad video of himself, Nathan Sykes and Kris Fox. All filmed on a super 8 camera, the look that comes from that camera suits these guys riding perfectly.

Nathan Sykes update

It’s been a interesting month for me. Anthony, Victor, Chris, Wolf and myself had the best trip back up to Fresno. It was great being able to stay out at the Sanctuary again and spending time out there. Unfortunately I crashed and hit my head pretty good on this trip. Gave myself some pretty good whiplash. Stoked though on how the edit came out and of course being able to spend time with the guys on the road.

My body has been pretty beat up so I have been trying to let some muscles relax and heal up but at the same time I struggle to stay off my bike. I just always love riding so I have a hard time making myself chill so my body can heal up. So I have been paining a bit and doing prints. Always enjoy doing that.

Also my really good friend from Oregon is out for a month. So we have been riding all the local spots and getting some good sessions. Always thankful to have my dude Beev around!

Alex Hiam update

Yo guys ! It’s been another crazy 2 months… I have been riding and Filming non stop with my buddies. I have had a couple of friends stay at my house to film and ride so I have been really productive lately.

Whilst filming for my new project I shot some more photos with a local Photographer Henry Harbeck to release when the Edit goes online. Most Likey a 4-5 minute video Exclusive to DIGBMX.com along with a photo gallery. It is all finished Just getting it Edited up now.

Towards the End of March I flew to Sydney for a week to see Rapper Kendrick Lamar play and Film more clips with my friend Ben Norris for my new Video .. Was a super fun week. it was my Third time in Sydney This year !!

@BakosPhoto from ENDLESS MAG was in Brisbane from UK so i met up with him and shot a couple of pictures while he was in town.

At the start of April I flew to Melbourne for a week For a FOX Athlete camp. Fox flew all the Fox athletes from all sports together and we filmed and shot photos for the new Range. I got to go wake Boarding and Down hill Biking which was sweet. The point was to catch up with the rest of the FOX family, athletes and Staff, and educate us on FOX’s direction and vision for the future. Super excited to be apart of it all…

After I got home, Mid March I had my friend 15 year old friend Ben stay at mine for a week to finish filming for my next edit. We rode the streets and skateparks all day everyday was super productive and fun to show the homie around Brisbane. Its amazing how Young and smart & talented he is. We also Filmed a Video at the indoor skatepark at The Village which be online this week. Was a treat to have some creative young vibes around . Stoked on the Creative stuff we filmed. Ben also came down to film the Jam I held at a local skatepark in brisbane .. The video will be online soon.

16 april Myself and my best friend Boyd Hilder Held another Jam at Moray field skatepark. We called it Why Not Again ( first one was WHY NOT JAM ) after how great our first Jam was last month the council got in contact with us and offered to support us to do more. So we organised it as soon as we could, Got in Contact with all our awesome sponsors and local riders n got the word out. There was over 100+ riders and more than the first jam … It was such a awesome day, We are both learning a lot from holding these jams. Hyped to be able to get every one together, and have such a positive Effect on the scene in Australia. Thanks to everyone that supports BMX.

After the Jam I flew to Canberra ACT to attend in Australias biggest BMX event ” Back Bone BMX ACT JAM ” Last year I couldn’t make it because I ruptured My spleen….. This year I was stoked to make it there.
Unfortunately I rolled my ankle the day before the event. It sucks But I was lucky I was still there, surrounded around so many awesome humans…. Such a wicked weekend It makes so Grateful to be apart of a rad sport.

Now I’m Back home in Brisbane for the next month. I am feeling really good. Super Sore from constant 3 months filming and travelling, But it’s all so worth it. Im super Proud of what I have accomplished and Motivated to save some money to travel in a couple of months . I’m going to be focusing on my health and saving some travel money the next month Before I leave for USA – ENGLAND – CHINA for the rest of the year.

Paddy Gross update

Hello everyone,

Hope this finds you happy and healthy. For the ones that follow me on Instagram you know I am doing my thing as usual, mostly working, hanging with my girl and #frontbrakebrethren. I recently took a trip back to the lovely Midwest of the USA and met up with a few amazing people to ride with including teammate, friend and good human Bobbie Altiser. I flew into Chicago and we drove 4 hours up to St. Louis, Missouri to hit up the Ramp Riders Indoor park. This park definitely leaves all options open when it comes to lines and all sorts of ramps. Most of us got stuck with riding the street spine and everyone had a blast. Towards the end of Saturday we all enjoyed the Bobbie Altiser and TJ Henderson backwards spine session and I still don’t understand what actually happed. Amazing! On sunday we took a trip to the northern side of St.Louis to ride at the Skate Church! WOW! This is has been by far one of the most unique places I’ve ever ridden and also one of the best Miniramps. The church was build in 1865 and one of the first German Catholic Churches west of the mississippi. Truly amazing to be able to ride my bike at a place like this. Just think about all the thoughts that has been brought to this place in the last 151 years… Thanks again to @sk8liborius for letting us having a memorable day at your church. Give him a follow and make a donation if you like. This place is one of a kind and a lot of hard work to keep it as amazing as it is.

We ended up with a amazing all day session including @mattloughbmx @davidraybuseman @danxhylton @billy_woodfin @hicknarkinsbmx @twobraketony @murderbike and myself.

Everyone was seriously shredding this place to pieces and thanks to Tony Loconte (@twobraketony) and Jarrod Glasgow (@murderbike) we have Photos/Edit from this amazing weekend.Check the clip below to see for yourself and check the photos on Instagram.

Thanks to everyone I mentioned in here for making me feel so welcome, let me crash at their places and showing me around St. Louis and Chicago. This has been my second time in the Midwest ever since the Baco jam 2015 and it gets better everytime I go. You guys are truly good hearted humans and friends. You made this trip unforgettable thank you! Love you all and see you again soon!

Hope you enjoyed the read, the photos and the clip. Thanks to Colony for keeping my ride dialed and Etnies for keeping my feet comfy.

Do your thing!

Nathan Sykes, Anthony Napolitan and Victor Salazar visited Sanctuary rest and ride prior to throwing a jam at Mosqueda bike park in Fresno CA. While at sanctuary they were able to visit Yosemite and ride an amazing skatepark in a neighboring mountain town.

The jam was an amazing, all the locals were in high spirits and killing it, on the way home the guys stopped in Visalia to get a few lines in
and heaps of locals turned out for the session, It was a real good session.

Filmed and edited by Chris Bracamonte.
