Parks we hit: Caloundra park & Alex Heads park.

What a crazy day at the Vans BMX Pro Cup. Both Luke Parker and Jake Wallwork ride well in Semi’s but didn’t quite make finals however Alex Hiam and Chris James really put on a show and qualified 2nd and 3rd for the finals.

Again both the guys put down solid runs with scored them 3rd for Alex and 5th for Chris! Stoked on all the guys riding and we’ve had a blast all week so thanks to Vans for that! Alex also scored 2nd place in the Redbull best trick with the pegs to whip to see below.

It’s Alex here I just got back from Bali from a 4 day trip to ride the Projam International contest.

I ended up placing 2nd place , super stoked.

I’m back home in Brisbane now for 2 days then off to Sydney to Five Dock to film some stuff and then to Melbourne for Moomba Festival contest going down on March 12 , if your in town make sure you come check it out.

Alex and Chris landed just outside the top 12 who made it into the finals at Simple Session placing 13th and 16th respectively. The guys rode well and for their first trip to Estonia they must be stoked. They have some great clips within this video.

Alex here, Checking in from home in Brisbane. It’s super hot and humid , middle of summer and holiday season. It’s been rad riding everyday, Filming for the LUX BMX store DVD which will be coming out later this year. Maintaining health and fitness whilst back home and Enjoying the Awesome BMX scene here at home.

I recently Just got home from a LUX trip to Adelaide, along with my friends Boyd Hilder, Mike Vockinson and Denbey Chandler. It was so much fun riding for 5 days, Huge thank you goes out to the adelaide locals and especially Ronal Swampie for guiding us around. Mikey Moore came out and shot some pics you can see below

Also Right before School holidays started I got chosen to speak to the Year 9’s academic students of Victoria Point High School, and help the kids to start thinking about future plans for after school, And shared my path and where BMX has taken me. It was really cool learning experience for me, public speaking at a Hall with my BMX videos on the projector . I sat at the Principles Table, With the top teachers and ate lunch with them. It was One of my highlights this year.

Also , My new signature seat drops in a couple of months. So mind blowing holding it in my hands, a dream made into reality.

Me and Cooper Brownlee have been busy working Designing some new stuff for Colony aswell, super excited to show you guys !

We teamed up with LUX BMX to put on the first annual Gnarcherfield Jam. The plan was pretty simple, we chose a park that was pretty basic but in a good location to be able to build some DIY setups which ended up working real well. We gave away a bunch of cash and everyone had a great time. We’re already hyped for the next one!

After Malaga Vans bowl contest I caught a train to Barcelona and met my girlfriend there for 12 days of holidaying. During that time John Young and his girlfriend happened to be in the same part of town being tourist for 4 days as well. So we both linked up and did mostly tourist stuff but filmed these clips along the way. It was super fun as we both had our Bmx’s and the girlfriends had the rental bikes cruising around.

Chris has some great footage around the 8 minute mark and Alex around the 13 minute mark from the qualifiers at the Vans BMX Pro Cup. Looking forward to the finals in a couple days…
