Broc Raiford is over in Cali on a riding trip right now & broke his scaphoid bone in his right wrist on a fall at some trails. This cuts his planned trip short & he is heading back home now to get surgery. We wish you the fastest recovery mate. I had the pleasure of visiting Matt & Jack from Little Black Bike earlier this week down in Adelaide, South Australia.
I gotta say Matt runs a very tight ship down there & his store is very impressive. A very well laid out store that is very welcoming. It also has the cleanest work shop I have ever seen !! The scene down there seems really cool as well with some amazing city sanctioned trails, great parks & good street. Liam Zingbergs is supported by the guys as well, so you know they are on it.

Here is our current print advert for DIG featuring our flow rider, Broc Raiford. This was shot whilst we were in the USA on a trip which was also the first time most of us met Broc.

Today we reached a small milestone in Colony history with this being our 2,000th news post on our website. Our website first went live back on July 14th, 2007. Seems like so long ago now… below is the first photo I posted on the site.

Bruno Faucon recently participated in a interesting Redbull event with no crowd present on purpose. Held in France they bought in some extra ramps at an already existing spot & just rode for fun. Look our for some clips from Bruno & he also even scored the ender. Enjoy.

The Toast Jam was one of the most fun events I’ve been to. Wish you guys could’ve been there. In other news, I’ll be heading to California to hangout with Fat Tony at Long Beach in about a week! Stoked! Fat has a number of film missions lined up so it should be a great time.

Seems like almost the whole American BMX community is in Austin, Texas for the Toast Jam there. Our own Broc Raiford is there & ended up winning the Leap Frog Beard bunny hop comp with a huge 49 inch hop, dang !! Well done mate.

As you may have heard the other day Ryan and Daniel Dhers have taken over Dave Mirras warehouse, well here is the latest info from Ryan about the plans…
“Because it has been such a private BMX warehouse for so long we will be opening it other riders. THIS does not mean you can just show up and Ride but if you message our facebook page or email bmxwarehouse@hotmail.com you can find out riding times and event dates.”
Clint is down here in Melbourne for the weekend, yesterday afternoon we rode Ringwood park with a bunch of the locals who were super pumped on any front wheel moves from Millar. Thanks to the local crew for having fun with it.
