I just spotted this over on the Vital BMX website where it looks like Sacramento rider Mike Donnelly picked up the 1 off fluro The Living frame kits that Dans Comp had over there. A couple weeks back Jourdan went on a trip for TCU and he shot through an update about it. There is a real nice photo gallery from the trip that Wes McGrath shot you can check out right here.
“The trip was fun we stayed at a friend Robbie’s house for 5 days rode a couple schools and spots, skateparks at night and we filmed a Instagram slam video that was fun to do with the whole crew… Dan Norvell,Jackson Ratima, Raul Ruiz, Glen Girboven, Nate and Wes! We rode and saw a lot of famous Phoenix spots, rode LA for a couple days after Arizona and went to the OSS store opening which was a good time! Over all it was a good trip and the video should be dropping soon for everyone to check out!”
We’ve been sitting on this video for a little while now and I am stoked to finally have it out. Brandon really went hard when he visited Australia for a month which is where a good chunk of these clips came from. Dude hits anything that is put in front of him. We are stoked to announce that one of New Jersey’s finest, Mike Brennan is now riding for Colony. I’ve known Mike for a little while now and everytime we would talk I could tell more and more that he was on the same page as us and things just fell into place from there. Next minute we are sending some product and the rest is history. A few months back Cooper had told me that Mike had expressed interest and good words about what we have going on at Colony. I was stoked to hear this for sure. It wasn’t until a few months later that we had the chance to meet up at Interbike and right away from that first meeting, I knew this was going to happen. The guys over in Brazil seem to be having a blast going off the Instagram photos they’ve been posting. That being said Chris did dislocate his shoulder on the first day which is shitty but otherwise good times are being had.

I am pleased to announce to the BMX world some big news regarding us here at Colony BMX.
Starting from the 2014 season, so meaning from approx. September 1st this year, we will be switching up our distribution outlet in the USA. Sidewall will no longer be our distributor.
We will be doing something not yet done by any BMX brand in the industry & we will be opening our own distribution company in another country. Based in California, we will be handling exclusive distribution duties to all US based dealers. We are very excited about this progressive move forward.
What will this mean for the average rider out there? It will mean finally you will be able to get Colony products in all good US dealers country wide. No longer will our products be very hard to locate & purchase. It also means our products will be more affordable then ever before, something all riders will appreciate.
What will this mean for the US dealers out there? It will mean you will have good continuous supply, great service & strong back up support for all our products. Something we feel very strongly about.
We have none other than, legend Keith Treanor coming into the family to run things for us in the USA. Keith’s managing role will be handling all the duties associated with this new venture. To have someone like Keith involved is an amazing honour & we are really excited about it all.
Being that we will have an office in California, will also mean marketing wise you will see a much stronger presence of Colony out there. Finally we will be able to support our riders in the USA how we want too.
Full details will be released in the weeks ahead but expect to see a lot more of Colony in the months & years ahead in the USA. Thing’s are about to get real.

Today is a year to the day that this ten clips was filmed with boss man Millar, how time flies when you’re having fun. A new one is being filmed today as well, so keep an eye out for that. #frontbrakes
Polly has been a big supported of Colony for a few years now and after flowing him some goods he came through with a creative 10 clips at one of his local parks, Mt Eliza.
We are very excited to announce the Follow the Lines Tour which will be commencing next week. This is basically a filming trip along with getting to hang out with a lot of new riders around the country. Being that it will be school holidays we will be visiting a few stores along the way and their local parks & trails even. Make sure you get out to one of the sessions at the shops and local park for plenty of giveaways!
For everyone in between, we will no doubt be hitting up more parks and spots, so keep an eye on our Instagram to see where we are are to catch up for a roll. Can’t wait for this to begin!
A good chunk of the team will be on various parts of the trip and we even have Brandon Van Dulken (Canada) and Jourdan Barba (USA) coming out for it! Both of which have never been here before, so that will be a treat for them & us !!

This was shot last year on our trip to the UK in Hastings. We didn’t get much time to ride this park but Ryan made the most of it.
As the long weekend kicks in for most of us in Australia, here are a few of my personal favourite web videos that we’ve dropped lately which hopefully helpes you get motivated to go out and ride, enjoy time with friends and maybe film a clip or two…
Almost a year to the day we spent 5 days filming at Woodward West and although I basically didn’t get to ride at all it was a really amazing week filming with the guys on the trip and hanging out with the guys I don’t get to see that often like Ryan, Paddy, Jourdan and Brandon it really added to an already awesome vibe we had going on.
As soon as Jack made the move to ride for Colony we went in on the filming missions travelling to Adelaide twice, all around melbourne and a trip or two to Canberra and 6 months later this came out. The kid crashes more then anyone I know but makes sure he gets it’s done in the end.
Alex Hiam went in hard on this from a few trips to Melbourne along with filming in his home town of Brisbane. The progression throughout the filming process was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of being out filming with Alex
Alex Hiam is over in the states for 3 months hanging & riding with Ryan Guettler. Expect to see Alex & Ryan all over different spots in the states over the months ahead. First up is a visit to Woodward West as part of the Shootout Video Contest again this year. They will be there for the guys over at Vans. Speaking of Vans, Alex & Ryan just went shopping courtesy of Jerry Badders, yew !! More updates here from the guys so keep your eyes peeled.
