Follow the Lines Tour

We are very excited to announce the Follow the Lines Tour which will be commencing next week. This is basically a filming trip along with getting to hang out with a lot of new riders around the country. Being that it will be school holidays we will be visiting a few stores along the way and their local parks & trails even. Make sure you get out to one of the sessions at the shops and local park for plenty of giveaways!

For everyone in between, we will no doubt be hitting up more parks and spots, so keep an eye on our Instagram to see where we are are to catch up for a roll. Can’t wait for this to begin!

A good chunk of the team will be on various parts of the trip and we even have Brandon Van Dulken (Canada) and Jourdan Barba (USA) coming out for it! Both of which have never been here before, so that will be a treat for them & us !!

Cooper Brownlee – Colony DVD

We just uploaded Cooper’s section from our 2011 full team DVD. Very happy to see this go online for everyone to enjoy.

Zac Miner update

Zac just shot through an update from the recent long weekend…

So the long weekend just flew by, but I did manage to get out of Canberra. I went down to Albury for Tenna’s (Matt spencer) birthday, was such a good night, got pretty reckless till all hours of the morning. It’s always good to catch up with the Albury crew! Next day I set off to see some good friends down in Kyabram then went up to Deniliquin to catch up the folks.. Managed to get a bit of a ride in at the old local. It was an awesome weekend, good to catch up with a heap of people I never really get to see! Won’t be really traveling solo for a bit, as I’m losing my license yet again. But this coming week I’m heading up to Brissy for a week long trip. Can’t wait…

Michal Mycek

Our boy from Poland Michal Mycek features in this roadtrip video from the Ave Bmx guys. Enjoyable watch.

Alex over in the states

I spotted this photo of Alex over on his Facebook page, looks like he is getting out in the sun over in the states.

Photo: Ryan Guettler

This was shot last year on our trip to the UK in Hastings. We didn’t get much time to ride this park but Ryan made the most of it.

Web Video weekend!

As the long weekend kicks in for most of us in Australia, here are a few of my personal favourite web videos that we’ve dropped lately which hopefully helpes you get motivated to go out and ride, enjoy time with friends and maybe film a clip or two…

Almost a year to the day we spent 5 days filming at Woodward West and although I basically didn’t get to ride at all it was a really amazing week filming with the guys on the trip and hanging out with the guys I don’t get to see that often like Ryan, Paddy, Jourdan and Brandon it really added to an already awesome vibe we had going on.

As soon as Jack made the move to ride for Colony we went in on the filming missions travelling to Adelaide twice, all around melbourne and a trip or two to Canberra and 6 months later this came out. The kid crashes more then anyone I know but makes sure he gets it’s done in the end.

Alex Hiam went in hard on this from a few trips to Melbourne along with filming in his home town of Brisbane. The progression throughout the filming process was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of being out filming with Alex

Alex Hiam in the states…

Alex Hiam is over in the states for 3 months hanging & riding with Ryan Guettler. Expect to see Alex & Ryan all over different spots in the states over the months ahead. First up is a visit to Woodward West as part of the Shootout Video Contest again this year. They will be there for the guys over at Vans. Speaking of Vans, Alex & Ryan just went shopping courtesy of Jerry Badders, yew !! More updates here from the guys so keep your eyes peeled.

Yo yo !!

Welcome to the Pro team – Brandon Van Dulken

Brandon Van Dulken has been repping Colony for us in Canada for a while now. Ever since we first met him in person about a year ago now in the USA, it was apparent that good things would come his way. He is a total ripper & can do anything he wants on a bike. To top it all off, he is a real down to earth guy, which to us means the most. He fits in with the whole team really well & we are very proud to be able to offer him the bump to the pro ranks. Congrats mate !!

Check out Brandon’s recent ten clips he dropped for proof of his diverse riding.

Brandon also has a very limited number of his own signature colour way 2013 Teddy frames available in Grey. Pick one up before they’re all gone.

Stas in Russian Kia Motors commercial

Stas Shatilo recently featured in a Kia Motors commercial over in Russia, here is what he had to say about it…

“Recently I took part in the filming of a new model of KIA cars commercial. The shooting lasted for 2 days. They built a quarter for me, and I was doing different tricks, but they chose only one, my favourite trick. I saw the commercial on TV very unexpectedly when I was sitting with my friends and having good time, I just said: “Hey, guys, here am I!”

Brandon Van Dulken – Ten Clips

Thanks so much to Shawn Duffield for filming/editing this 10 clips of Brandon smashing out a 10 clips at Railside Park, Canada in style.

Alex Hiam B-Roll footage

So a couple months ago we dropped the Alex Hiam video which has copped a whopping 129,000 views. As we said back then we spent a lot of time filming for this project partly because of Alex and myself living at opposite ends of the country and also a few injuries thrown in the mix.

As with most web videos that come out there is always some random clips left over, crashes and even a few riding ones so we wanted to put all that together for a little behind the scenes look into the filming of this particular web video. We will be dropping a few of thes ebehind the scenes videos in the coming weeks so I hope you enjoy them.

Jack Kelly web video
