Pretty sure Tom pulled this off camera and we thought we were going to cop the deadly camera curse but it actually didn’t take that long to get. Some local guy just chillin’ in his car was so hyped on it, as if he’d never seen anyone coast on the front wheel before. I guess that would be pretty amazing to an outsider.

“Busy past few months for sure. Since coming back from my trip to Europe I hit up the final stop of the DownUnderGround Flatland series in Australia in Melbourne and was stoked to take the win!
A good mate of mine from Hungary, Andras Pentek also came for a month to travel, ride and shoot some photos and video for some magazine and web projects that he’s got going on back in Europe. We started in Perth, then Adelaide, then onto Melbourne and a roadtrip through Tasmania. Good times.
While in Tassie, I also did some demos for one of their biggest country festivals, the Derby River Derby which was a lot of fun.
A couple of weeks back, I got an invite to do a flatland show at a professional photographic studio in Melbourne as they were doing a product launch and needed an action subject to test the equipment to an audience of pro photographers. Good times and thanks to Chris Polack for that one.
Gonna be on the road for 16 days over Christmas and New Years across Victoria and South Australia so will keep you guys updated!

A couple weeks back Jourdan went on a trip for TCU and he shot through an update about it. There is a real nice photo gallery from the trip that Wes McGrath shot you can check out right here.
“The trip was fun we stayed at a friend Robbie’s house for 5 days rode a couple schools and spots, skateparks at night and we filmed a Instagram slam video that was fun to do with the whole crew… Dan Norvell,Jackson Ratima, Raul Ruiz, Glen Girboven, Nate and Wes! We rode and saw a lot of famous Phoenix spots, rode LA for a couple days after Arizona and went to the OSS store opening which was a good time! Over all it was a good trip and the video should be dropping soon for everyone to check out!”
We’ve been sitting on this video for a little while now and I am stoked to finally have it out. Brandon really went hard when he visited Australia for a month which is where a good chunk of these clips came from. Dude hits anything that is put in front of him. As we posted the other day, Ricky is getting some flow from us for killing it on a bike over in Adelaide. Then the next day he drops a random web video he filmed over the past month or so, killing it.

A while ago Matt from Little Black Bike was telling me about this new kid down in Adelaide who was showing some good promise of being a possible rider for us here at Colony. We started to flow Ricky Catanzariti some product through the shop & now he has progressed into an official flow team member. We are stoked to have him on board & the fact Little Black Bike are down with him speaks words for us. Look out for more from Ricky in the new year, the kid is going to make some noise. We are stoked to have him in the family.

I can’t wait for Chris Courtenay‘s next web video to drop in a couple weeks (which is also in our free dvd). This invert is a good example of what to expect from it.
So we’ve been hard at work putting together a DVD maxed out with our favourite web videos form the past year. The DVD includes 4 videos that have not yet made it online from Chris Courtenay, Clint Millar, Brandon Van Dulken and something special from Tom and Bobbie. The DVD is free and will be available from all Colony stockists in the coming days/weeks depending on where you live so hit up your local shop or mailorder while stocks last!

We are getting behind the jam that Riding Way are putting on down at the HillnDale box jump park in Melbourne on the 15th of December. Get down there for some good times and a free feed.

A few of us headed to the Dane Searls trails jam in Canberra yesterday. It was a dialed session with everyone getting crazy on the jumps. A few people came un stuck including Bayzand but I think all that did would still be stoked that they were apart of the day. I know Luke Parker was doing these cannonball’s.

I just got back from an eventful weekend down the coast with a good bunch of the lads from Canberra, it was Bdog from Backbone’s bucks party and we headed down to Wollongong for the night, shit got good to say the least, everyone woke up a little worse for wear. We managed to get a few little rides in between everyone being well liquored and the rain pissing down. Got my new whip together, actually that stoked on it! The new wasp hubs run like a treat, was flying around with out barely putting in a crank. Love the new set up. Was such a good weekend! Congrats to Bdog.
Tomorrow in Canberra Backbone are putting on the 2nd annual Dirt and nothing Else jam to remember the great Dane Searls. Some of the team will be there, make sure you do the trip out for the session.
Through Local BMX in Fremantle, WA we have started to help out David Pinelli with some Colony flow. David is also helped by the guys at Freestyle Now in WA who perform demos all over the country & basically do good things for BMX in this country. Check out his new 2014 Sweet Tooth below along with some action shots.

So stoked to have this out, Ryan put in some solid work for this and it was a real pleasure to work with him on this. So much diversity.

We shot this indian super seaty in Millars backyard last week with Alex on his new bike going hard straight up. The Sweet Tooth now has a lower stand over height along with the 19.8 having a lower height again to suit the younger crew wanting to hit it on a Sweet Tooth. More information about Alex’s frame can be found here.
Cooper spends a good amount of his time behind the lens but he wanted to work on something new from in front of it which is what you have here. Filmed over the past year throughout Australia and the USA.

This would have to be one of the craziest gap to rails around and I know Zac has eyed up a few things on it, Stoked to see him get this one ticked off. Props to Raine Turnbull on the photo aswell. The Backbone DVD is going to be nuts!
