I’m writing a update from Woodward camp and it makes think how crazy that is to say. As a kid I grew up dreaming of Woodward camp I had all the posters on my walls, All the riders I looked up to I ripped out of magazines and tacked them to the wall. And one day I was riding Beenleigh and Colin Mackay was there filming, Colin lived on the other side of Brisbane so it was a treat to see him because he would always go highest over Beenleigh hip.. Before he left he handed out stickers to all the kids like how I thought pros would, he gave me a Woodward sticker and joked you should go there one day. I didn’t know what to do with it, it was too special to put on my helmet or bike because I might never get one again. I framed it with a photo of lot 8 and a photo of the dirt jumps from BMXPLUS. Crazy to think him giving me that sticker has motivated me this much. I’ve been to Woodward over 40 different times now and have the best times here !!! Thanks Col I owe you!!!
I’m here all week and some of next week getting some new tricks dialed before I go to Barcelona next week for an event. Here’s some photos of the good times.
Shane Badman organised this interesting interview with Ross D Lavender about his Prody Frame build & some back ground on the original frames & the history around them. Well worth a read, click here now to check it out on the Flatland Australia website.

We hooked up Vital BMX with 3 riding shots of our UK flow rider Ryan Winterbotham which we shot when he was in the USA recently. You can check all 3 photos right here and run them on your computer or phone’s background.
Our good friend Polly just dropped this video from what looks like a good day out. Shot by Sam Illman for Primary Threads…
I will let Ryan tell the story behind this cool project…
I’ve been doing a lot of recon tours and RV trips and see so much talent with in the Bmxers so Iv’e teamed up with the Monster Army program to find theses kids and let them tell their story and see what goals they have on the bike. I think it’s really cool to let them tell their story so it’s not always just about the big tricks.
Here is the first video which features Chandler Golden who is from Chandler, AZ. It also has some really good clips of Ryan mixed throughout…
3 clips of Alex that we weren’t using for current projects but still worth watching…
Vital just posted an in-depth bike check of our UK based team rider Ryan Winterbotham. You can view the entire bike check here and be on the look out for more from Ryan and Vital in the near future.
I only have positive things to say about the 2014 ACT jam that went down earlier this year and this 13 minute video gives you a good feel for it all. Thanks to Backbone and everyone that had a hand it making this all work.
We are getting behind the contest going down at Rampfest in Melbourne later this month. Be sure to make the session as it’s guaranteed to be a good day.
David shot over an update from West Aus, he has been going in hard of late riding as much as possible since his surgery. He will be moving to Melbourne next week as well so keep an eye out for him blasting a quarter near you.
Thanks to Shaun and Chris for the photos.
Hello everyone, next to a 6 day working week I find proper time to ride my bike. dunno how but I do haha. I also started filming for a new edit 2 months ago which will be all about the front brakes as after 15 years I decided to put them back on and it feels like being back in the 90’s. I am loving it so much and all I do is watch my old Baco Vision, Props etc. VHS tapes I’ve kept all these years and get my Inspiration from riders such as Dave Freimuth, Jason Enns, Dave Osato and of course the Boss himself Clint Millar. We wanna make the Video look as old as the tricks are so we’re not filming with high tech HD and what not but on purpose, just a few more weeks and we should start putting it together. Well that was it for now, hope all of you are happy and healthy, enjoy yourselves and have fun riding your bikes. until next time.
Both Jack and Dean have photos within the latest Photdump from Focalpointbmx. You can check out all the images here.

Just a quick update to what I’ve been up to,
The other weekend I went to the monster street comp in Odaiba, Tokyo. Some amazing riding went down. I caught up with Shuhei who is the Japanese Colony team rider, he was shredding and had made a big trip to the comp.
Last weekend I went to ‘Trinity Skatepark’ in Ikebukuro, Tokyo for the ‘On it’ jam. This was a great event, while riders and skaters rode the park, there was live bands, djs and food stalls. It was pretty much a party…people who wanted to ride could, those who wanted to drink and enjoy the music and riding also could.
This weekend coming im going to a big flatland jam on saturday then a demo on sunday. Should be good.

Hay guys,
This month I’ve been flat out and all over the world. I went to Italy for a week of shows for the US military doing school shows and demos at the local skate park, Really fun time but did not get to see to much of Italy itself.
Just wrapped up the 2nd stop of the Recon tour in Tucson AZ, really amazing turn out with over 70 AM riders signing up. I did two days of my boot camp before the event to help with tricks and work on lines with the kids entering. Taught 3 kids back flips and it was so cool seeing them throw it down in their runs. Next recon stop is Ohio dreams July 18th can’t wait.
Right now im at LAX getting ready to fly to france for FISE contest. I have not been to a Fise comp in a few years so I’m really looking forward to it. Follow me on instagram @ryanguettler to keep up with what im doing every day.
Peace, Ry.
Hey Guys !!!
Last weekend I road tripped 11 hours inland to a small town called Cunnamulla 840km west of Brisbane with a brand called Freestyle Now. They got Myself, a skater and a scooter rider on board to coach the kids out west how to ride for a day.
On The day of the coaching the whole town was at the local skatepark to meet us . There was only two kids that owned BMX’s so coaching was a little hard so we put more of a demo on rather than coaching. It is crazy how little effort it took us to make these kids day. I let all the kids ride my bike taking turns, And even taught some of them a few beginner tricks. We were handing prizes out all day long and doing games and playing footy, twiggy etc. Anything to make these kids smile…
I had never been out west before so it was such a good experience.. I couldn’t believe how simple these guys live. There is no movie theatres, theme parks or anything. Just the local skatepark, Pub, Foodmarket & that’s about it. They didn’t even know what a IPhone was!!! We Helped also helped clean swear words of the skatepark and did fun games and gave away lots of prizes on that day.
After the show and demo’s the local kids slid a super cool letter under my motel door they wrote up !! I have attached pics of it. I though this was so awesome.I had the best weekend with a really good crew on board and would do it all again!!! Thanks for the good times Shaun Jarvis.
We teamed up with the guys at Lux BMX to bring out this very special one of a kind Prody custom complete bike. Only one on the planet & available to purchase right now. Check it out !!
