Hey guys checking in. I’ve been riding a lot lately really enjoying my bike and having fun. I took a day trip to the famous Nude Bowl recently, the place is so amazing and magical. Slashing around the pool felt surreal! I’ve also been getting some last minute clips and putting the finishing touches on my new Colony video that should be dropping very soon!
Follow me on Instagram and keep up with my day to day adventures @jourdanbarba
Our boy Ricky who recently broke his wrist has been sitting behind a computer whilst hurt and putting this piece of magic together. Rick has some great moves throughout and as always gives us some creative moves that have you rewinding back to see what he just did. Shoutout to all the crew involved as it was a good watch…
Our friend Frenchie has been filming this mixtape since he moved to Melbourne and it came out pretty nice. Jack, Polly, Marnold and Luke Parker all have some great clips throughout…
Hey guys !
I have being in Finland for 9 months already, having this new experience is amazing! Now that I’m living here I have been studying, and try to organize my time with Bmx! Couple months ago I got my new set-up, I’m so happy for this bike its super light ,strong and perfect for my size.
I started to ride without breaks, I think is super hard to ride like that, but I’ll give it a try and see what happens !
I want to say thanks for Clint Millar for always keeping my bike fresh and perfect ! Thanks for DreamBMX for always helping me out too.
Thanks SubvertBMX for the great images.
Nathan Sykes and friend Matt Cordova had the idea of creating a quarter pipe and taking it up onto a mountain not far from their place. Ride BMX posted a video and a bunch of photos from the session which you can check here…
Yo guys!
Hope all is well. Just been keeping busy with work and riding while the weathers been good. Other than that, lots of night time-lapse stuff up in the mountains. Tomorrow I’ll be driving down to the coast for a week to hopefully get an edit finished and hang out with some good people. Stoked! Here’s a little snap from Penticton skatepark in the Okanagan.

West Aus rider David Pinelli has been riding for Colony for a little while now thanks to Local BMX Shop. We are stoked to have this video out which we filmed over the past 6 months between Melbourne and Western Australia.
Special thanks to Chris Hyland for the additional footage.
Hey guys! It’s been an up an down month for me! Dropped my welcome to Pro team edit which I was very stoked and thankful for! Lot of hard work and time in that and to be able to have such a nice finished product is the icing on the cake! Cooper put in so much time and energy on it and I can’t thank him enough.
My Locals Only x Colony seat is coming together amazing too. Clint sent over the sample and was able to throw it on my bike! Can’t wait to have these released. Turned out better than I could have imagined.
My parents drove down from Oregon for a week and was able to spend a full week with them around California. They both were sick and unfortunately got me sick too. I have been battling with that the last week and a half trying to get healthy. It hit me pretty hard! Hopefully be back to 100% by the end of this week. Health is one of those things we always take for granted, it’s something that we don’t think about much but when your body decides to shut down and try to fight some sort of infection it really sucks! Stay healthy and stay happy!
Justin sent through some nice shots of his current ride. Featuring the Miner frame, Guardian Forks, Contour Rims, Front Wasp Hub, Anyway Plastic Pegs and 22’s Cranks.
Our good friend Pat Kelly puts his front brakes to some really good use in this TCU video with Dirt Ron. These guys are always entertaining…
What’s going on guys, I’ve been keeping busy lately between finishing up some filming projects coming out over the next few weeks, working and messing about with my car. Love it. Also now running one of my prototype CC combo seats, absolutely love it and couldn’t be more stoked on how it turned out. I think it’s the ‘happy medium’ between a fat and mid seat. Anyways for now heres a couple photos from the last few weeks.
There is such a buzz around for this jam. Looking forward to early June thanks to the guys at Backbone BMX. Get in the car and make the trip with some crew, you won’t regret it. A good chunk of the team will be on hand so come say hi.
Hey Guys !! Hope everyone had a good Easter Weekend. I have been out on a mission with Troy Charlseworth filming a lot for a Fox project. Stoked with the clips we’ve got so far, And have some cool trips planned for it.

Coouldn’t be more stoked thanks Jay Dean at flight centre Victoria Point for the deal !

Paddy Gross is a ramp technician, if you follow him on Instagram (@paddygross) you will know what I am talking about…
About a month ago myself, Jourdan Barba, Nathan Sykes, Chris Bracamonte and Polly headed up to Fresno for a jam with the locals at the Mosqueda park along with playing our current FREE dvd up on the wall ride after the session. The day was super fun with a large crew coming out and enjoying the day. Massive thanks to Ryan Garcia, Andreas Wenzel and Chris Bracamonte for making the day what it was. Even after the jam the guys helped us out with the issue of our only car key breaking in half but that’s a whole other story. Here is the video from the day, hopefully it portrays how much fun we had…
Nathan sent us through a few shots from the local dirt quarter he built up a while back. He recently cleaned it up and roasted a few moves out of it. Thanks to Matt Cordova for the images…
And incase you missed his new video that dropped last week…
The crew at Backbone have been hard at work filming for their DVD for the past 3 years and it’s all coming to completion very soon.
Be sure to hit up the ACT JAM in June for a great weekend and the premiere of the dvd. A large portion of the Colony Team will be in town for the weekend, should be a blast !!
The trailer is a great example of what you can expect from the DVD…
You should know that Nick Richardson is the man behind iconic Colony signature products like the Bloody Oath Frame & Bars & the Gnarkill Frame & Bars. Since leaving the BMX world a few years ago, he has been killing it with his own brand – Tide Apparel.
I for one, am so stoked to see Nick have great success from his hard work over the recent years with the brand. Bloody proud of ya Richo !!
Check out this interview below about what he has been up too the last few years. Go give him a follow on Instagram @tideapparel & grab a shirt or two on his website here now.

Michal Mycek gets a session in at a nice looking park in Poland and does one of the longest ice 180’s I’ve seen…
I traveled to Adelaide for the Easter long weekend to hang out and ride with some interstate friends from Eat Children Crew. I got to ride a few parks and street spots that I hadn’t ridden before which was a treat and hanging out with those dudes is always a good time. I also filmed a bunch of clips with Rhys, Doug and Moz and some little instavideos which you can see below.
Thanks to Rhys, Liam, Tony and Moz for letting me stay at their houses and driving me about to ride!
