Named after Nick’s Greyhound dog, this frame is just as bad ass & fast as his dog. Our newest team member is all the way from the UK, his name is Jonny Devine & will now rep for us over there. We here at Colony are super stoked to have Jonny on board with us & he is now decked out on a fully loaded Bloody Oath with a swag of our stuff. Many thanks go out to Alan’s BMX for their help with getting him his new set-up so fast. I also must say a shout out to Will Jackson for putting us onto Jonny in the first place.

Ryan has a feature up on Vital about his new Whip 2 shoe out with Vans now. I found it rather enjoyable to watch & looks like Ryan is killing it as always. The edit has some awesome riding of Ryan in Greenville & especially his amazing backyard set up. I gotta get myself over there soon & session that ramp. Looks so much fun.

Nick Richardson has to have a full knee reconstruction for the 2nd time now. Sucks big time. Richo will be out till about March next year. Take it easy during the recovery time mate.

Steve Woodward had his bike stolen the other day. Let’s hope the person that stole it gets hit by a truck. Don’t worry, Steve will be back on another Bloody Oath in no time.

Mick Bayzand is now safely in Vancouver where he will reside for the next few years. Mick will certainly be showing the streets of Vancouver what’s up & plans to get back in riding dirt more too. Expect regular updates from Mick here.

Nick Richardson’s signature frame, the Bloody Oath, will soon be shipping worldwide. We had them on display at Interbike in Vegas & the feedback was very positive. Expect to see this Full Post Heat Treated 4.29 lbs (1,950 grams) beauty in stores sometime in the next 4 weeks. Some countries will get them even sooner. Look out for it in 21 or 21.25″ sizes & in Black, White, Metallic Bloody Red & Metallic Purple. Check the products pages for more info.

Some say that it doesn’t but Nick Richardson may think otherwise. Check out his first car he bought entirely on his Bloody Oath Bar royalties from us here at Colony. Pretty farkin’ shweet if you ask me…haha. It’s a Ford Falcon EB ’92 model complete with alloy wheels, it’s lowered, got aircon & even a CD player !! Talk about high rolling !! Seriously though, Nick is very happy to have his first car. Even though, it makes me a little sad that I wont need to drive him around everywhere now.

Just for comparison, on the other end of the scale, we have one of Ryan’s many cars… a rather pimped out Chrysler 300C. Maybe BMX really does pay?

Nick Richardson’s massive bars are shipping right now worldwide to a select few countries. Australia, USA, UK & France will get them in a very limited edition Chrome.

These things are bloody huge… 28.5″ wide, 8″ high with 12 degrees back sweep & 1 degree of up sweep. Of course you can also get them in good old Black. In Australia they’re also available in Clear Coat & White as a special pre-release limited edition colourway.

Bloody oath we got some new, very special frames coming for 2008.

All our frames for 2008 feature Full Post Heat Treatment giving them an amazing strength to weight ratio. Basically, our frames are Heat Treated after welding & this creates the incredible strength that they possess.

First, we have the Dave Freimuth signature frame called the MVP. It comes in either 20.25 or 20.75 top tube lengths & weighs in at a mere 4.5lbs (2,050grams). Dave’s tech machine will hold up to anything you can throw at it whether you run front brakes or not.

Nick Richardson’s signature frame, called the Bloody Oath, is our lightest frame at 4.0lbs (1,850grams) This will be one of the worlds lightest frames designed with Nick’s ever so popular style in mind. It will come in 21 or 21.25 top tube sizes.

Earlier this year we filmed for almost 4 weeks in the life of the entire team. We travelled in Australia from Brisbane to Sydney then over to Wellington in New Zealand & onto the South Island for a roadtrip.

On the trip there was Ryan Guettler, Dave Freimuth, Nick Richardson, Pete Radivo, Kenny Raggett, Haimona Ngata & myself. We also had a very special guest in the way of Dave Osato. The trip is also going to be documented in the next issue of Ride BMX UK.

I have been busy editing the footage from the trip into our first DVD release. It’s getting rather close to being finished now & will be in shops within the next 6 weeks or so. Keep an eye out for ‘A Month In The Life Of’ at all good BMX shops worldwide.

Oh yeah & check here for a possible trailer in the next week or two.

The new issue of 2020 is out very soon, it has some coverage of a trip some of the team took from Brisbane to Canberra along with a trip that Richo and Guettler took to Sydney. It also features a Chris Courtenay interview which should be interesting.

Both Ryan & Nick are on the road to Sydney doing some filming & getting some photos. Troy Charlesworth has gone along to capture the action & Josh Mette is along for the ride as well. They will be hitting up the Orange jam on the weekend as well. Look out for a story in a future issue of 2020 magazine on their travels.
