Marnold has been on the team for just short of five years now & we have seen him grow into the amazing street rider that he is today. It is with sadness though, that he has decided to step down from the pro team & take a more chilled position within our family team. He will still be riding for us but just without the duties that come with being a pro team rider. I personally want to thank Marnold for all his support over the years & his dedication to Colony as a brand. It’s been awesome mate & I am looking forward to our next ride together. Clint Millar
I’ve known Marnold for something like 7 years and watching him progress over those years has been an awesome experience. I am glad he was able to see the world because of BMX and I will miss the missions we would have going out at all hours of the night to film a clip or make a spot rideable. I am sure you will still be seeing Marnold out on the bike and chances are he will be killing it as he has that natural ability that most (including myself) wish we had. Cooper Brownlee.
Below are some words from Marnold himself…
After recent months and the last couple of years, I’ve been going through some life stuff and BMX has been on the back foot. After some serious thought, I have decided to step down from the Colony pro team. This I feel, is for the best for myself & Colony as a brand. I still will represent Colony as hard as I can but won’t be with the pro team anymore. I just want to say thanks to everyone at Colony that has helped me over the years. Cheers for the good times guys.. Marnold.
Yo yo !!
Marnold shot over an update of what’s happening for him right now…
“Sup everyone, not much happening down my way, I pulled 2 muscles in my back last Monday so I’m out of action on the bike for a while which sucks a lot but I gotta rest up to get better, so in the mean time I’ve just been hanging around working on my car and chilling out, recently brought a tattoo gun which is probably not the best idea I’ve had but who cares, gotta have fun some way or another!!”
Cooper is a man of many jobs within Colony & I would be lost without him. I am amazed at how he can do so much & do it all so well. On point with everything he does, this new Focalpoint video is no exception. Check it out & look out for clips from Marnold, Jack & even Coops himself.
Yo yo !!
With Troy Charlesworth in Melbourne, Marnold came out to film a few clips with him for the 2020 dvd. We came up on this spot which was such an amazing rail setup, for anyone that searches schools you would most likely come across dream rails at the end of school buildings with no run up, well on this occasion we just got lucky.
I met up with Marnold yesterday afternoon (as you would know if you are following Colony on Insta) at a local spot we’ve been building at over the past year or so and grabbed a few photos while we were at it. Spring is here so the goodtimes are rolling.

So pretty much as soon as Stu finished the 2011 Colony DVD he put everything he had into filming the Coppin’ it Sweet DVD which is now very close to being finished. Here is the trailer for the DVD which definitely has a good vibe to it and both Clint and Marnold have full sections so keep an eye out for it.
Marnold is a boss and went in hard for this web video. Enjoy the video then check out his signature Talon bars here.
I spent the weekend out with Marnold, Mick and Jack whilst we had some good weather. Mick just got back into Melbourne so we should be going in hard in the coming weeks for his next web video. Jack has a web video dropping this week I can’t wait to get out! Marnold is also in the final stages of clipping up for his next project. Good times!
I was going through some older photos the other night and came across this sequence of Marnold from our Barcelona trip in 2010. If only my bike didn’t get confiscated on the 2nd day.
