Marnold sequence
I was going through some older photos the other night and came across this sequence of Marnold from our Barcelona trip in 2010. If only my bike didn’t get confiscated on the 2nd day.

Jourdan Barba met up with the guys from Vital last week & filmed this video in a day. Some real cool stuff in there & I am a real big fan of Jourdan’s riding style. Check it out. Thanks to Vital for putting this together.

Ryan just hooked us this link of the video from the Sheep Hills jam from his hospital bed. He is doing well by the way & will have a few more days in hospital before being released. If you know Ryan, you know he will be back in no time at all.
The jam was all for a good cause to raise funds for Boozer Mike, one of the original Sheep Hills locals who was paralysed last year in a racing incident. You can donate to the fund by clicking here now.
Video filmed & edited by Dylan Pfohl.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I just have to rest in the hospital for a few days, but keeps the messages coming they’re fun to read when I’m doped up on drugs haha – Ryan.

Shane has been a busy man of late…
Hey guys, It’s been a busy start of the year for me starting out in January doing some demos in Sydney with Simon O’Brien that were a lot of fun. In February and after a bunch of years living in Brisbane, I recently moved down to Gippsland in country Victoria for a bit of a change. Being only a couple hours from Melbourne I’ve been making the treks in to ride on weekends and trying to spend as much time as possible as I can riding before winter gets here.
I have also been doing a bunch of roadtrips to Adelaide and catching up with the local crew there. If you’re ever in Adelaide you gotta stop by my good mate Matt Hodgeson’s shop, Little Black Bike in the city. He stocks a full range of Colony gear and has been in the BMX game a very long time so knows his stuff. Don’t forget to hit me up on Instagram @shanebadman
Just got word that our main man Ryan Guettler went down & is currently in hospital with a ruptured spleen & lacerated kidney.
Rest up mate & keep positive. Our thoughts are with you. Give Ryan some love via his Instagram @ryanguettler

Our good friend Valvo just sent through this nice shot that Renan Souza took. With the bad weather in Brazil right now Valvo missioned it a few hours to ride this indoor park to keep himself active. if you haven’t seen the exclusive Brazil seat we did check here.
Stu Munro recently visited Sydney to film with Simon…
My life is about to start another chapter which may result in less riding so the other day I invited Stu Munro down to my place to do some filming for an ESPN edit. I’m real happy with what we filmed in the three days so I’m looking forward to the edit.
Bobbie shot through an update of the latest with him over in Missouri…
Hello world. I’ve gotten pretty into road cycling over the last couple of months. Averaging around a 100 miles a week, or about 160 km depending on where you’re reading this from. Nothing too crazy.. Spring is here, my local park opened up for the season and I’ve also been working on kind of a secret ramp set up in the back of the shop that I work at. For the most part I am building everything out of wood from old skateparks, construction sites, houses.. pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Trying to save a bit of money! Ha ha. Slowly coming along though. Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to!
Alli Sports just dropped this Day in the life with Alex which they filmed a few weeks ago. Alex and his friends hit up some rock pools along with a session at Pizzy park and the GC.
Zac just shot through an update from the recent jams that went down on the long weekend up in Canberra…
“Act jam went down on the weekend. So good to have something like this happen in Australia let alone my home town. The jams set up so you ride a different skatepark over 3 days, Weston, Belco and Tuggers. so much crazy shit went down. There was a fair turnout over the long weekend, not that many outta towners really which was a let down. Peta was there which was awesome, good to have a beverage with her. Josh Epplestun took out the under 16 champion, he was shredding all weekend. Will Gunn took out the ACT jam champion, he absolutely killed it at every park with local lines and going massive everywhere. Thanks to the guys at Backbone for putting it all together, so stoked act jams back on again, can’t wait till next year.”
This was filmed over the past 6 months or so, basically whenever I could get to Canberra Zac and I would hook up and film. I really do enjoy riding and filming with Zac, he always has new crazy setups lined up to film at and most of the time it works out. We both worked hard to get this exactly how we wanted it so I hope you guys enjoy it and be on the look out for more Zac in the coming months.
More info about Zac’s signature frame can be found here.
Brandon Van Dulken and Owen Dawson took advantage of the nice weather Vancouver recently provided and dropped this mix edit.
I was really stoked to see this video of Axel Reichertz from Germany. I first met Axel at Beenleigh back in 1997. I then went and stayed with him in Cologne, Germany for the 2000 worlds. He is an inspiration and one of the coolest down to earth guys you will ever meet. He also runs a cool shop called Zupport in Trier, Germany. They stock our products So know what’s up!

Bruno Faucon has a really good interview in the new ART online mag over in France. It’s all in French but even if you can’t read it, the photos throughout the mag are well worth checking out.
Peta is off to the ACT jam this weekend so be sure to say hi to her if you get the chance whilst out hitting up the jams happening all weekend. Thanks to Angela for the photo.
Here is something a little outside the usual BMX world here but one many will appreciate regardless. For many months now we have been working on this joint project together with Type 2 Detectives in the UK, who are one of the more famous VW custom shops on the planet. To have them contact us and offer such a colab was an honour and one that we could not pass up.
Basically the plan was to build to our own look and specs, an awesome and very rare, 1965 VW Type 3 Squareback panel van. The idea was to make it into vintage look company car, complete with roof racks for a couple bikes. The perfect promo vehicle and a lot of fun to boot. It was debuted at the world class Volksworld show this past weekend in the UK with some great feedback. The end result turned out awesome and exactly how we wanted it to look. Thanks heaps to Paul and his team at the Type 2 Detectives. Hit them up for any of your VW needs. Check out their website and their FB page.

Marnold just sent through this update from his Brisbane trip, thanks to Stu Munro for the photos.
Yoo guys, on the weekend I went up to Brissy to film with stu for his dvd. I had a blast, rode some amazing spots and the crew I rode with were awesome, way to many laughs and shit talking! It was hella hot up there like 30 both days and so muggy that when you were just sitting down you were sweating, but other then that it was good to get out of Melbourne and ride. Thanks to Stewie, Raph, Bongsey, Anton and Tiny for a good weekend!
Tom Stretton gives you a very good insight into learning footjam tooth stalls, have a watch then get out there and learn them.
