Zac shot through an update from down in Canberra…

Hey y’all.. So not much has been happening at my end, the weather in Canberra has only just kinda come good. With all the shit weather we’ve had before spring we made the most of the climate and went up to the snow for two days for a friends birthday. Couldn’t wipe the smile off my face up an down the slops all day, ate shit a heap of times but had ball. I’ve been rolling around a little at some of the local little parks near my house, but I get my license back in two weeks so i’ll be definitely doing some trips once I get it back, not sure where but yet? Other then that I’ve just been Laying low passing the time.

Tom is such a delight to film with, sure his clips may sometimes take forever to get but standing out in the freezing cold late at night is well worth it when he comes through with something special. We collected some great footage for this video, most of which was on roadtrips throughout Australia enjoying the sunshine and the places we came across along the way.

G’Day everyone, hope you all are happy and healthy. Here’s a little something of what I’ve been up to in the last few months. I’ve recovered very well from my broken ankle and got the official OK from my surgeon to go ahead and do my thing with riding. I’ve had a good chance to do that on our Colony trip to Woodward and thanks again for having me there. So now back in Portland I am working in a bike shop, running the BMX section. I’ll be going to California in a few days to visit Clint, check out the new Colony distro and have a riding sesh with the guys down there. With Troy Charlesworth in Melbourne, Marnold came out to film a few clips with him for the 2020 dvd. We came up on this spot which was such an amazing rail setup, for anyone that searches schools you would most likely come across dream rails at the end of school buildings with no run up, well on this occasion we just got lucky.

Our very popular freecoaster has been out for a few months now and they are seriously dope! I am still running the original prototype from 18 months ago and it’s going strong. We made this how-to video a couple months back on how to adjust the slack of the hubs so we hope it helps anyone out there wondering how to do so.

Jack Kelly spent the evening filming with Troy Charlesworth for his soon to be released 2020 dvd. I can tell you first hand this is going to be a great watch!

This was a nice treat this morning as I opened my emails. Shuhei who rides for us in Japan just dropped this web video via the local Addiction crew. Shuhei has alot of creativity when he rides and it’s web videos like this that make me want to get off the computer and out there for a session.

Whilst in California Chris hooked up with JC Pieri for the day and came through with a stupid amount of good footage.

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Dean to film some clips for his next web video. Things were going good up until he crashed hard on a flip tuck to bars and got knocked out. So glad Dean wears a helmet, no doubt he will be back in no time but damn it was rough at the time.

The 2014 Inception has been freshened up & made more affordable than ever now. Designed for the smaller riders out there or for those that prefer a responsive & agile geometry, it is ready to shred right out of the box.

I haven’t been getting out on the bike as much as I’d like, because right now I’m training for a triathlon at the end of September. But managed to get a rad ride in at Millar’s backyard on the weekend. Best mini ramp ever by the way. Thanks to Jesse for the photos.

We got behind this years Canadian Concrete and from all reports it was a dope series with a great turnout of riders and supporters. Looking forward to more!

I met up with Marnold yesterday afternoon (as you would know if you are following Colony on Insta) at a local spot we’ve been building at over the past year or so and grabbed a few photos while we were at it. Spring is here so the goodtimes are rolling.

One of my personal favourite sections from the 2011 Colony DVD. I’m sure many out there have the same opinion, enjoy.

Ryan Guettler shot through an update on what he has been up too of late…

I’ve been very busy the last 2 months and have a huge month ahead of me. Over August I’ve done the Vans HB bowl comp, Colony Woodward week, Mongoose Woodward east comp and now just finished the Vans ECSC comp. I’ve been progressing and getting better results as the events have been going on. The Mongoose comp was really cool & we got good results in dirt with our team ending up getting 2nd place.

Then this past weekend I went to Norfolk VB to compete in the Vans ECSC comp and came home with 3rd place. Really happy how the comp went and against that field of riders I can’t complain.
Now I have a week off so I’ll be working on new tricks and filming a lot for upcoming videos. Then of to Mexico City for a big comp Sept 6th.

Tom just shot through an update from the latest happenings…

“I went on a trip up down through Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne not long ago and it was unbelievable. Met the most amazing people and had the best time riding with the crew. Thanks so much to everyone we met and as always thanks to Cooper for constantly putting his neck out for us.

For the last month or so I have been staying in Brisbane city solo and just trying to ride as much as I can and definitely partying haha. Pretty much each weekend my best mate Shane Batchler has been staying with me and we have been running a muck haha. For those of you who don’t know who Shane is, he is pretty much the godfather of the tailwhip and all things liquor based. Learn yo shit hahah.

I’m currently working on an edit and a few other things which I hope everyone will enjoy. I don’t get the chance to film much so we will see what happens. Keep an eye out.
