FTLT coming to an end

Well for me this trip has been a solid 4 weeks of filming and driving and although the past week has been from home it has still felt like a trip. In the very early hours of tomorrow morning both Brandon and Jourdan will be heading back home overseas and Tom headed back to Brisbane this evening. It’s been a blast and we got some really solid footage. Here are a couple photos from just before of the guys packing up and chilling watching all the footage from the past weeks.

Chris Courtenay in Germany

Chris Courtenay is over in Germany for the 2013 Worlds right now. If you’re over there make sure to go up & say g’day. Look out for the guy airing higher than most & having a blast of a time. Good luck over there mate !!

Product highlight – Anyway Plastic Pegs

Our Anyway Plastic Pegs have been in the works for a while now & are finally out in Australia & Canada. Other markets will have them in September / October this year.

Featuring an alloy core with a replaceable plastic sleeve these babies will slide on almost any surface with ease. They are that little bit longer too, making them great for crooked grinds and other tricks. All at a great price too. So check them out at a Colony dealer near you now.

A few guys on the team are actually running these pegs without the plastic sleeves for those who are weight conscious. They are crazy light & perfect for park use without the sleeves.

FTLT – Day 17

The sun was out again in Melbourne so I took the guys down to the iconic St Kilda banks on the beach which was pretty damn good then onto the city for a roll well into the evening. Good times indeed.

Our 2014 range of complete bikes are out now in various dealers around Australia with more to come early August. Other countries will have to wait till September / October this year though but will be worth the wait.

Both the 2014 Premise & the 2014 Endeavour have a limited edition colour each, once they’re gone, they’re gone for good, so act fast.

The Premise limited edition colour is Mint with Black while the Endeavour is ED GOLD which looks amazing.

Shane Badman update

Shane sent through an update on what’s been happening with him, always something cool going on…

Hey peeps! I’m over in Perth right now for a few days before I head out to Europe and Hungary where I’ll be living for the next few months. Bike packed and everything is sorted, can’t wait to get over there! Before I left I did a small piece for a magazine that goes around regional Victoria called “The Milk Mag” in the current issue, 19. Pretty stoked on it and the article talks about interesting jobs so being in BMX is definitely something worth a read that everyone needs to know about! You can pick it up in most newsagents I’m told so check it out. Don’t forget to hit me up on Instagram @shanebadman

Day in the Life of – Ryan Guettler

Fat Tony did this cool feature on Ryan Guettler with some interesting facts about Ryan & some cool photos from a day out & about. Check it out here now.

Zac clips

Zac Miner has a few really good clips in this mixed section from JT’s Blazeguard DVD that came out a little while ago now.

FTLT – Day 15

We spent the day filming and riding at Woden park in Canberra, we planned to only be there for a warm up before hitting some spots but one clip led to another and before we knew it, it was freezing cold and the sun was going down. Everyone seemed to have fun though and we got some solid clips which I am stoked on!

FTLT – Day 14

We spent the good part of the day hanging out at Backbone BMX riding the flat rails and checking out the shop. As always Backbone hosted a great day. We then hit up a session at the iconic Erindale Banks where I snapped this shot of Zac just as the cold was really setting in.

FTLT – Day 13

A couple good days spent in Sydney were just had with real good weather, clips filmed and too much dice played. Here are a couple photo’s of Chris at a packed Bondi park.

2014 Colony Endeavour promo

We put together a video to show everyone the highlights of the 2014 Colony Endeavour along with some riding from a few of the team guys. These bikes are available now in Australia with the rest of the world getting them in September.

FTLT – Day 11

The sun was out in Sydney so we hit up Five Dock park and then onto a few spots throughout the day which was real productive. We have another day in Sydney before we head down to Canberra!

FTLT – Day 10

We spent the day driving from Newcastle after hitting up the Wallsend park then got settled in Sydney and searched a few schools with some good results. That evening a couple of us hit up the city for a roll and Tom got an awesome clip after a couple hours of putting in work for it!

The Berry Jam is on this weekend…

The guys up in Berry Springs near Darwin have a fun raiser jam organised for this weekend on July 7th at some private trails. Should be awesome day for an awesome cause. If you’re in the area get yourself there for a fun day on the bike. Proudly supported by many including ourselves.

Brisbane to Newcastle

We spent the day/evening driving from Brisbane to Newcastle which is about 800km’s, it rained almost the entire time which made it worse to drive in. Fortunately we did get a little window of dry weather as we went through Nambucca Heads so we hit up the park to break the drive.

USA trip

I am out here in California with Ryan, Chris and Alex before we head off for Woodward West next week. Today we hit up the Malex-handplant

ryan-fastplant-markitarkit crew’s backyard setup and had a blast of a time. Thanks to the Enarson family for the hookup.

Alex wins Recon tour in San Jose
