It’s been a while coming but when you have a team as large as ours these things do take longer than expected. We have all new team pages with interviews, photos & videos on all the team members. This includes our newest editions to the pro team ranks, Marnold & Tom Stretton. Along with the flow team, flatland crew & family members there is plenty of new stuff to check out. Peta loves Kuraby park and rides it really well, we spent an afternoon there a couple of months back and she went to work producing some good lines.
Last night I picked up Valvo from Brisbane airport after his mammoth 36+ hour journey from Brazil. After some much needed sleep, we have come to the Colony office today & I took Valvo shopping in the warehouse for a new bike. His choice was our new 2012 Teddy V2 frame in Matte Black. He is putting it together right now & we will do a bike check later.
A big thanks to Marcelo & Andre from Dream BMX for helping get Valvo out here to Australia.

A few weeks back we took Brock down to Capalaba park in Brisbane to film a ten clips web video. He really put in work for this so we hope you enjoy it.
Edited: Cooper Brownlee.
Filmers: Cooper Brownlee (fisheye) Stewart munro (long lens).
Brock Olive has an advert in the new 2020 for his clothing sponsor Dishonour. Pegs to hardway gutter gap.
Really good video from the guys at 2020. Marnold, Brock, Zac and Liam all have some great footage in this web video. Zac took it hard multiple times trying whip to over ice down the rail, I can’t wait for the day he pulls that move. Marnold came 2nd with a stupid amount of combos, opposite x-up crooks?
Things are really moving along for BMX in Brazil & much of this is to do with the hard work from the guys at Dream BMX. They recently put on a dirt jam & below you can see the video from it. Pretty cool vibe & looks like everyone had a great day. We supported the event with some prizes as well.
In more news from Brazil, Dream BMX also recently had a trade show booth & showed off all our new products we have coming out for 2012. See some pics below of their booth.
Our Brazilian team rider & good mate, Valvoline is also headed over to Brisbane for a month of riding soon which will be really good to have him here. Should be some good times ahead for sure. That’s him on the trade show booth. Expect to see him here for the month of November.

More goodness from Focalpoint. Look out for banging clips from Marnold, Mick Bayzand, Brock Olive & Cooper himself.

Broc Raiford had a good weekend just gone, read below for what he got up too…
How have things been man? Hope you’re doing well. Yesterday at the BREC park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana I took home the win in a high air contest. I aired out around 8ft. It was held on a small hip but was still really fun. Stoked to see how much BMX is growing in Louisiana. I won a complete bike which I plan to give away to someone in need. Below is a picture of me and the other two riders who placed 2nd and 3rd. Overall it was really rad experience. Talk soon -Broc.

A couple of days ago it was the Canadian Thanksgiving jam at one of the newest parks in Canada, Chuck Bailey Park in South Surrey. Brandon made the 4 hour trek down just to ride the bowl under the big roof. That place looks soooooooo amazing. Thanks to the guys at Killemall for the photos.
Michal Mycek our flow rider in Poland spent the summer travelling around Europe with Brad Simms. He collected a bunch of footage along the way & put together this video. Sit back, relax, grab a coffee & enjoy.

So Liam Zingbergs got invited to this comp in China and seem to have a blast doing so from the photos and what he tells us…
“Hey guys, so Biggie B and myself got invited to go to China and ride a comp on a lake in Huazhou City. It was awesome they put on a big show and stuff for us! So anyway, I was lucky enough to place 2nd, it was dope and an experience I won’t ever forget!”
Shintaro seems to travel alot which is great. He recently travelled to Indonesia for the LevelBikeco flatland competion which he happened to win! Congrats Shintaro.
Our flow rider from Brazil, Valvo recently hit up a pretty nice looking spot. Thanks to Tico for the photos and some words from the mission…
“Leandro told us about those pipes that were parked on The Marginal Road, which is one of the main roads down here in
Sao Paulo. Then, on Saturday, myself, Valvo and Leandro went there to check it out and see if you could ride
there…Fortunately the guy that was looking after the pipes allowed us to ride and we had an amazing time!!!”

Which Parts do you go through the most?
I find I go through pedals, grips and tires the fastest.
Describe your Bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
I like it super solid not making any noise, not too light either or else everything starts to feel sketchy. Also into the feel of taller bars.
What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
Having the wheels true obviously. Angle of the bars make a pretty big difference and that they’re aligned with the front wheel, I don’t know how kids can ride without it being straight. It drives me crazy whenever the headsets creaking or the chains loose too.
Plans for the future?
Keep having fun and continue filming for a little web edit. Also start saving up this winter for a couple trips. I’d love to head down to Cali and check out Europe one of these days.
Big thanks to Clint at Colony, as well as Blaise and Tammy at Kill Em All Distro for hooking me up with the bike.
