Hedgehog stores in NZ

If you live in New Zealand then you most likely know of the Hedgehog chain of bike shops. Well, they have carried the full range of Colony bikes & parts from pretty much day one now. These days Colony is one of their better selling brands which we are stoked to hear. Check out their full range of BMX products on hand including Colony. While I was there in NZ I dropped by two of their stores, Takapuna & Onehunga as seen below.

More Queenstown…

Dropped by the public trails here in Queenstown, New Zealand today & they look really good. We were here a few years ago with the team & the trails have progressed so much since then. So many lines it looks really fun. It’s pretty cool that these are council backed & endorsed. They even pay someone to keep them in top condition. If only more councils were this behind trails around the world.

Henrique Castro from Brazil sent a quick little email to say that like here in Australia, it has been raining heaps of late & so his riding time has been short. But he did get out the other day in between rain showers to have a roll in his local streets with some mates. Valvo recently put together a Teddy frame & he is loving it. Thanks to Marcelo at Dream BMX for looking after Valvo over there for us.

Flood crisis…

Right now here in Brisbane, Australia there is a looming flood crisis at levels that have not been since the disastrous floods of 1974. Over the coming days, it is set to surpass those records set 36 years ago. My thoughts go to all those effected by this natural disaster. Already, lives have been tragically lost & let’s hope there are no more. I wish everyone the best in the days ahead.
