Zac Miner’s second version of his own signature frame has landed in Australia now & will be in dealers later this week around the country. Other countries will receive theirs in the weeks ahead.

For 2013 the Miner Frame has been refined with a few key features such as smaller drop outs, thicker gauged tubing throughout to withstand even more abuse, slightly taller stand over height & now comes with external gussets on the top & down tubes. Colours available for now are Matte Black & Midnight Blue with Gloss Clear Raw coming in late September.

New for the 2013 season is Alex Hiam’s newest version of his signature Sweet Tooth frame. Now coming in 20.6″ TT as well as 19.8″ & 20.3″ there is a size to suit a whole array of riders.

Updates for 2013 include an external down tube gusset along with smaller more refined drop outs. Of course you get all the normal features from our frames including our own unique invest casted removable brake guides. Available in 3 x colours for 2013 Matte Black, Gloss Clear Raw & Matte Orange which is an exclusive colour to the Sweet Tooth within our ranges.

Our 2013 Endeavour complete bikes are now in stores Australia wide for you to check out in person. We have brought back some favourite colours from seasons past like our Bloody Black (Black with Red splatter) along with some classic colours like Matte Black with Chrome/Polished parts. Both Anton McGuirk & Peta Shepherd made seperate journey’s to the recent worlds in Cologne, Germany only to be rained out. Here are some words from Peta on her trip…

The comp park finals got cancelled… It was raining to much. So I didn’t even get to ride…. Sucked!! But I got to meet Hoffman and Haro which made up for it a little.Some of the girls that entered got to ride the indoor that was close by, for a girls only 2hrs session on Saturday. It was really rad riding with that many amazing bmx girls.

Peta Shepherd is over in Canada for a few months & she sent in a quick update. Read on below to see what she has been up too of late…

So far Canada has been awesome! I’ve just been riding heaps and sight seeing a little. Last week Kiera and Steven (Moxley) took me on a road trip up to Ottawa, it was a really fun time. Steven had a demo with Craz-E-Crew on Canada day, the 1st of July, and I was allowed to join in. They have a 9ft quarter and cool box jump. After dark we got to let off backyard fireworks, which I had never done before. These are just a couple of pics from the week – Peta.

T-Strett is on fire !! This one we filmed when in LA the other week & was a lot of fun. You gotta try this trick & if you are not laughing & smiling whilst doing it then something is wrong… it’s the funniest trick ever. Get to it !!

While kicking it with the Colony team a few weeks back, I overheard Peta Shepherd say to teammate Tom Stretton, “You should do a wheelbarrow on the banks,” while riding the famous White Banks in Los Angeles. I looked over, asked what a wheelbarrow was, and Tom immediately hopped on his bike, rode up to the banks, did some sort of running nosewheelie/whiplash on the banks and rode away. Soon after, we were all on our bikes trying to do it and simply put, having an absolute blast doing a simple and fun trick on flat ground and on the banks. After a bit of coercion, Tom was convinced to say a bit about the trick, and that leads to this week’s How To. Sure, this is a pretty easy trick to get done but as Tom proves, there’s plenty of ways to do it and I’m positive that someone will take this thing to a really creative and high level at some point. Until then, see Tom’s tips (in both normal English and the Aussie slang version) and get out and have some fun – Ride BMX.
