Worlds End BMX Jam…

To celebrate the official opening of the new park at Wallsend in NSW, there is going to be a huge jam for all to come ride & have a great day. April 10th is the day & there will even be a few of our team riders down there as well. See you there !! Proudly supported by Drift Bikes along with many other fine people.

Broc Raiford in Toronto

Broc Raiford scored 10th place in pro at the Toronto BMX Jam on the weekend. Well done mate. Unfortunately though, Broc suffered a broken nose & a few missing teeth in the process, ouch. Get well soon mate.

Broc Raiford in Toronto

Broc Raiford qualified in 6th place for the pro finals tomorrow at the Toronto BMX Jam in Canada. Not bad for his first international comp. Good luck for the finals mate.

Broc off to Toronto…

Broc Raiford is off to Canada today for the Toronto BMX Jam 2011 this weekend. It’s his first time outside the US & is pretty excited to say the least. Check back for some more updates from Broc from the jam.

We have got behind the South East BMX Series to be held in & around Melbourne starting late February through to late May this year. Autism Jam March 6th

There is a jam to be held at Fairy Meadow park on March 6th. If you’re in the area get yourself there for a fun day of riding all for a good cause. There will even be a Since Tee shirt signed by the entire team that was on our trip last week up for auction.

BMX for Floods – Beenleigh

Yesterday the nation wide BMX for Floods jams went down to raise funds for the flood appeal. The Beenleigh leg went down really well even with the 37 plus degree heat we had to endure. Not sure exactly on the amount raised but I believe it was well over $2,000 so far. Thanks too all that came out & made it a huge success.


Guettler got everyone to make a bike pile after the day finished & here is the result.

Dealer highlight – Spokes NT

Spokes NT in Darwin, NT are a huge Colony supporter & have been for many years now. They recently built up this Sweet Tooth custom below for a customer. Looking the goods no doubt. Spokes NT are also supporting the Darwin leg of the BMX for Floods Jams happening tomorrow around the country so you know they are in BMX for the right reasons.

BMX for Floods on Sunday…

Make sure you get to your local BMX for Floods Jam on Sunday & donate all you can. This is a for a great cause & you could even have some fun & win yourself some fantastic gear. I know we have given over $8,000 retail worth of product for all nine jams alone. So, with everyone else’s help we should be able to raise some serious funds for those in need.

BMX for Floods Jams

Below is the flyer with full details on all nine jams being held nation wide on Sunday the 20th February.

Make sure you get your self to your closest one & throw a few gold coins into the donations. There will even be auctions & raffles at most jams too for your chance to buy some great stuff. At each jam there will also be a bunch of Colony grips for sale for $10.00 each with 100% of the proceeds going to the flood relief fund.

So dig in deep & come along for a fun day of riding for a great cause.

Flood Relief Jam… Beenleigh

On the 20th of February there is set to be a nation wide series of flood relief jams aimed to raise funds for the victims of the QLD floods.

We here at Colony are getting behind them all & especially the one set at Beenleigh. Almost the entire team will be present & should be a great day for all involved. Gold coin donations are expected from everyone who attends the day & there will be bands playing as well. More details on other jams will be posted here in the days/weeks ahead.

2011 Down Underground Round 1

If you are into flatland & you have been looking for an excuse to travel to Tasmania, then you will want to make sure you are down there for this on February 19th. Check out the video the guys put together for where the event is to be held. Looks really sweet.

Rayyan checks in…

Our flatland guru in Japan, Rayyan Ibrahim (formally known as Shintaro Misawa) was in Malyasia recently for a comp there at a festival called Kulsign. He did well enough to get 2nd place behind Mat Dagu who also rides for us through our Singapore connection, 20 Inch Circle. Good to see the guys out there killing it, congrats !!

We have a winner… or two

The first correct guesses for our Pete Radivo comp were two minutes apart so we decided to give out two prizes. Both Hayden Vesey & Justin Grey guessed correctly with Pete doing a superman seat grab to disaster. Both these guys will soon receive a package in the mail with some pedals & some grips.
