Death by Wasabi !!

To help celebrate the release of our 2011 range we have teamed up with Brisbane’s newest BMX store,
LUX BMX to bring you, Death by Wasabi !!

Basically, we’re gonna give away a 2011 Teddy frame in our new Wasabi colourway for the person who wins by eating the most wasabi on the night. There will also be other give aways on the night so make sure you’re there for it. Even if it’s just to laugh at who ever is crazy enough to eat copious amounts of wasabi for a frame. Should be entertaining to say the least. See the flyer below for details.

We will also have on display a teaser display of our 2011 range which is due in the country in September.

Cooper Brownlee is…

… always busy !! He recently has been keeping occupied building the set up for the King of the Jibs contest we’re holding in a few weeks, stripping his bike back to bare metal & riding as much as humanly possible. Cooper is setting off on a road trip to Adelaide this coming weekend to shred & film. He will also be up here in Brisbane in a few weeks to photograph our entire 2011 ranges which will hit stores in September across the country. Never a dull moment for Cooper.

Old school BMX…

There was recently an old school BMX show ‘n’ shine in Brisbane at Lewis & Sons Powder Coating. A bummer I was out of town as it’s always a good day for sure. Always love checking out the old school bikes, so many memories, some good & some not so good! It’s cool to see how bikes have improved over the years & see what was once old is also new again. Click here now to check out some pics over on the Newcircle site.

Colony in Malibu?

Cruised around Cali today & checked out the famous beaches of Malibu. Spotted the new offices for Colony perhaps, not really. It seemed almost everywhere we looked in Malibu, something was referred to as Colony something or other, pretty cool.
